The first edition of the Technology Olympics was held from October 23 to 29, 2024, at Pardis Technology Park, supported by the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy. The inaugural competition took place in five technical fields, including cybersecurity, robotics, programming, artificial intelligence, and drone competitions, across more than 30 specialized leagues.
The first edition of these competitions was met with overwhelming enthusiasm from the audience, with more than 6,380 elites and technologists entering the competitive process to test their technical talents.
The competition process consisted of two stages: an entry exam to gain admission to the Technology Olympics and the main competition. Based on the capacity for the main competitions and the preliminary exam, 1,620 of the top competitors from the preliminary stage were granted permission to participate in the Technology Olympics.
Simultaneously with these competitions, a specialized job-seeking process was conducted for 570 job-seeking applicants.
